People of color have to be powerful in order to survive in today’s society. Even after decades of discrimination and mistreatment, this community is still hurting and fighting for justice. These faces are used to represent an entire community: a community that is constantly put down by society. HEAR OUR VOICES HEAR OUR CRIES is a representation of the pain and fears that come with being a person of color in America. Society will try to silence us but we will continue to fight until we overcome.
